“The first domestic intelligent rock drilling robot for non-coal mines is officially put into use”
Hubei News of China News Network, June 22 (Li Chennichang, Huang Mingyin) As the operator of the monitoring center clicked the mouse, the intelligent rock drilling robot jointly developed by Xingfa Group and Kaishan Heavy Industry started drilling holes in the Shukongping Phosphate Mine in Xingshan, Hubei on the 21st. A relevant person in charge of Xingfa Group said that this is the first time that an intelligent rock drilling robot has been put into use in a non-coal underground mine in China.
Rock drilling is the first step and the most important link in underground mining. Although the rock drilling trolleys used in the past have mature technology, they have strong dependence on personnel, require a large number of operators, and are not conducive to safety risk control.
In recent years, Xingfa Group has invested nearly 400 million yuan in total, and has cooperated with domestic scientific research institutions, universities and equipment manufacturers to continuously carry out technical research and development such as localization, automation, and intelligence of large-scale mining machinery and equipment. A batch of intelligent equipment such as automatic anchor cable trolleys and unmanned intelligent mining trucks have been put into use one after another.
It is understood that the intelligent rock drilling robot put into use this time has successively overcome technical difficulties such as precise positioning and high-precision scanning control error millimeter-level technology, joint loss and angle correction technology, and has achieved a series of high-end technical breakthroughs in equipment autonomous positioning, AI artificial intelligence, network communication, autonomous scanning and recognition.
Wang Song, technical director of Shukongping Phosphate Mine of Xingfa Group, introduced that the intelligent rock drilling robot allows one person to remotely and automatically control three or even more rock drilling trolleys at the same time. At the same time, the robot has one-button start and stop and one-button intervention capabilities, which can greatly reduce the number of underground drilling and blasting personnel in the mine, reduce production costs, and improve the safety level of the mine.
“The research and development and application of intelligent rock drilling robots is another important achievement of Xingfa Group and Kaishan Heavy Industry in scientific and technological innovation and development of new quality productivity.” Peng Yali, deputy general manager of Xingfa Group Co., Ltd., said that within this year, Xingfa Group will apply intelligent rock drilling robots in all mines of the company.
Song Zhenqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of Shandong University of Science and Technology, said that technologies such as intelligent rock drilling robots have broken the monopoly of foreign technology blockades and will make important contributions to the realization of intelligent mining in metal and non-metal mines across the country. More than 100 representatives from mining companies, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities from all over the country gathered at the Shukongping Phosphate Mine, a national green mining development demonstration area, to witness the historical moment when the first intelligent rock drilling robot in China was officially put into use. Zhang Jian, member of the Standing Committee of the Xingshan County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate, Peng Yali, deputy general manager of Xingfa Group Co., Ltd., and Xia Jianhui, president of Kaishan Heavy Industry, attended the press conference and pressed the start button.
Under the common concept of innovation-driven, Xingfa Group and Kaishan Heavy Industry have joined forces and successfully developed the first intelligent rock drilling robot in China after 5 years of research. The equipment not only independently compiled and developed programs to break the bottleneck problem of foreign technology blockade, but also pioneered new technologies such as scanning positioning, automatic detection and correction, and deviation correction. Among them, 19 technologies have obtained national patents, becoming the first intelligent equipment in China suitable for non-coal underground mines.
At the press conference, the Kaishan brand intelligent rock drilling robot became the focus of the audience. Under the comprehensive explanation of Xu Xuefeng, vice president and technical director of Kaishan Heavy Industry, the intelligent rock drilling robot’s high-precision automatic scanning, full-process automatic control of the drilling process and other intelligent functions were newly displayed, bringing great surprises to the audience. There is no doubt that its appearance is another important achievement of my country’s science and technology enterprises in the field of intelligent manufacturing, marking the full process automation of rock drilling in domestic non-coal underground mines, adding new impetus to the construction of intelligent mines.
