On April 22, it was sunny and windy in Loxley, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA. Kaishan Compressor USA held a factory expansion ceremony. This is another milestone following the completion and commissioning ceremony of the factory on October 7, 2019. It marks that KCA is about to reach a new and higher level.
Kaishan Holdings Chairman Cao Kejian and KCA CEO Keith Schumacher delivered speeches at the ceremony. Director Cao pointed out that it only took about five years for KCA to grow into a major player in the North American compressor market competition, with a market share of approximately 9%, and is still expanding its market share and revenue scale. He expressed his heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the team for this achievement.
Officials from the location where the KCA factory is located also delivered a speech, thanking KCA for providing high-quality employment opportunities to the community and for its contribution to local economic development. They pointed out that due to KCA’s excellent business performance, the average salary of KCA employees is one and a half times the local average salary, and local people no longer have to travel far to get high salaries. Proud of KCA’s achievements.
It is understood that KCA’s expansion will bring 90,000 square feet of new factory buildings and 5,000 square feet of R&D center space to the factory. It mainly provides space for expanding the manufacturing scale of dry oil-free screw air compressors. And because KCA has excellent profitability and cash flow, all US$15 million in construction funds were raised by itself.
