On June 7, 2023, the SMGP Drilling and Resource Team conducted a completion test on the well T-13, which took 27 days and was completed on June 6. The test data shows that: T-13 is a high-temperature, high-fluidity production well, and successfully produced the heat source lost due to the failure of T-11 workover. The water absorption index of the well is between 54.76kg/s/bar and 94.12kg/s/bar, and the highest downhole temperature was recorded at 217.9°C 4.5 hours after the water injection was stopped. When the production layer is stable at 300°C, the well is expected to produce 190 tons/hour of high-pressure steam.
The total drilling cost of T-13 is less than US$3 million, and it is a low-cost high-production geothermal well. Its heat source will be used in the third phase of SMGP power station.
At present, the drilling rig is moving to the wellhead of T-07 well, and will start drilling the side channel of this well soon. Earlier, well T-07 was used for recharge because the casing could not be pushed down as planned and the shaft collapsed, which prevented the resources from being transported to the ground smoothly.
